The challenge
At the start of the project, Boyner ran 126 department stores in Türkiye and an e-commerce channel. Digital campaigns were optimized on online conversions only, while 60 to 70% of revenue came from physical stores.
- Optimization without store sales. Ad platforms bid without seeing in-store sales.
- Inventory not connected. More than 208,000 products were not connected to ad platforms for local inventory ads.
- No attribution. There was no way to connect a store purchase to an earlier ad.
- Manual work. Location data, inventory and sales were managed by hand across channels.
What VenueX did
Connect. VenueX connected CRM data, POS data from 126 stores, the inventory system with more than 208,000 SKUs, and store details. Customer data is hashed with SHA-256.
Fix and activate.
- Store purchases go to Google Ads, Meta and TikTok through their conversion APIs.
- Product availability by store goes to Google Merchant Center and Meta, so local inventory ads show only items in stock.
- Store data on Google, Meta, Apple Maps and Yandex comes from one source.
Results
Offline ROAS was 3× online ROAS. Some campaigns that looked weak online were among the strongest in stores. With store sales in the data, budget could move to them.
Local inventory sync made Google local inventory ads and Meta dynamic ads for retail possible. Customers see what is in stock nearby before they visit.
