# Koçtaş found offline ROAS was 4.6× online ROAS after connecting 263 stores

A DIY retailer with 263 stores in Türkiye connected its in-store sales to its Google and Meta campaigns and saw what its ads sell in stores.

## Facts

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Company | Koçtaş |
| Industry | DIY and home improvement |
| Stores | 263 |

## Results

- 4.6×: Offline ROAS vs online
- +112%: Store visits
- +15%: Above target
- 263: Stores connected

## Quote

> By linking our 1st-party store data with digital channels, we measured the true conversions of our campaigns and carried our advertising performance to the peak.
>
> Mehmet Emre, Senior Marketing & Corporate Communications Manager, Koçtaş

## The challenge

Koçtaş needed to see the effect of digital advertising on its 263 stores. E-commerce gave clear conversion data, but most revenue came from purchases in stores. Digital campaigns could not see those purchases.

- **No offline attribution.** Ad platforms could not see store sales, so bidding and budget decisions used incomplete data.
- **Separate data systems.** POS, CRM and campaign data lived in different systems.
- **Incomplete ROAS.** Online ROAS showed less than the true revenue effect of digital campaigns.
- **Store details out of sync.** 263 stores needed the same, correct information on Google, Meta and other platforms.

## What VenueX did

**Connect.** In 4 weeks, VenueX connected:

- POS transactions from all 263 stores
- The CRM customer base, with hashed identifiers
- Store location and operating data
- Google and Meta campaign data, together with the agency partner OneIngage

**Fix and activate.**

- Store sales go to Google Ads and Meta every day through the official APIs.
- The platforms optimize for revenue in stores, not only online signals.
- All 263 stores are kept in sync on Google Business Profile and other platforms.

## Results

Offline ROAS was 4.6× online ROAS. Online tracking had shown only part of what the campaigns returned. Campaigns that looked weak on online data were among the strongest revenue drivers. With store sales in the data, Google and Meta bidding could optimize for business outcomes.

Store visits grew 112%. Two changes ran in that period: better targeting, and more accurate store profiles on Google Business Profile.
