# VenueX AI (Beta)

VenueX AI is an assistant inside the VenueX platform for multi-location retailers. It answers plain-language questions about a brand's store locations, Google reviews and Google and Meta campaign results, and it prepares store detail changes and review replies. Nothing it prepares goes live until a person with the right role approves it.

VenueX AI is in beta. This page describes what works today.

## What VenueX AI does

- Answers questions about the brand's store locations, for example which stores have no description or no website.
- Answers questions about Google reviews, for example which stores have the most unanswered reviews or which stores lost rating this month.
- Answers questions about Google and Meta ad results at campaign level.
- Shows answers with the numbers behind them, as lists, tables or charts.
- Prepares changes to 11 store fields, for one store or many stores.
- Drafts replies to Google reviews.
- Works for one brand at a time, within the signed-in user's role.

## How it works

1. **Ask.** A user types a question in the VenueX AI chat in the VenueX platform.
2. **Answer.** VenueX AI reads the brand's data in VenueX and answers with the numbers.
3. **Prepare.** When the user asks for a change, VenueX AI shows the store, the current value and the proposed value. For a review, it shows the draft reply.
4. **Approve.** A person with the right role approves the change, asks for a different value, or cancels it.
5. **Publish and check.** VenueX applies the approved change. Store changes update the VenueX store record, and Store presence sends them to the brand's connected platforms. VenueX then reads the new value back to confirm it. Approved review replies are posted on Google.
6. **Log.** Chats and approved changes are logged.

VenueX AI acts only when a user asks. It does not watch data or make changes on a schedule.

## Store fields it can change

VenueX AI can prepare changes to these 11 fields of an existing store:

| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Store description | The "about" text of the store profile |
| Regular hours | Opening and closing times for each day |
| Special hours | Holidays and special days, including full closures |
| More hours | Other hour types, for example pickup, delivery or takeout |
| Opening date | The date the store opened or will open |
| Website | The store's web page |
| Main phone | The primary phone number |
| Additional phones | Other phone numbers, with optional labels |
| Email | The store's email address |
| Social profiles | Links to the store's social media profiles |
| Store contacts | The brand contacts assigned to the store |

## Data it uses

| Data | Where it comes from | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Store details | Store presence module | The VenueX store record for each location |
| Reviews | Customer feedback module | Google reviews per store |
| Ad results | The brand's Google Ads and Meta ad accounts connected to VenueX | Campaign level only |

VenueX AI answers from data that is already in VenueX. A brand that has not set up a module gets no answers about that module's data.

## Platforms

| Platform | What VenueX AI covers | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Google | Google Ads campaign results; Google reviews and store profiles through Customer feedback and Store presence | Ad results at campaign level |
| Meta | Meta campaign results; store details through Store presence | Ad results at campaign level |
| TikTok | Not covered by VenueX AI | TikTok store sales stay in Online-to-offline measurement |

## Access, approval and data

- **Brand isolation.** Each brand's data is separate. Access checks stop users of one brand from reading or changing another brand's data.
- **Roles.** VenueX AI uses the signed-in user's role. VenueX roles include admin, brand member, location member and review responder. A review responder can draft review replies but cannot see or change store details or ad results.
- **Approval.** Every store change and every review reply waits for a person to approve it. VenueX AI does not publish anything on its own.
- **Logs.** Chats and approved changes are logged.
- **Accounts.** Platform accounts stay with the brand. VenueX works through the access the brand grants.
- **Accuracy.** VenueX AI can make mistakes. Users should check important numbers before they act on them.

For data handling across VenueX, including SHA-256 hashing of personal data and the KVKK and GDPR data processor role, see https://venuex.io/security.

## FAQ

### Will VenueX AI reply to reviews on its own?

No. It drafts a reply when a user asks. A person approves each reply before it is posted on Google.

### Which store details can it change?

Store description, regular hours, special hours, other hour types, opening date, website, main phone, additional phones, email, social profile links and assigned store contacts. It cannot create a new store.

### Can it change many stores at once?

Yes. It can prepare the same kind of change for many stores. The user sees the proposed changes and approves them before they go live. In one run for a dealer network, new store descriptions for 140 locations were prepared, approved, sent to Apple Maps and read back in about 3 minutes.

### Can it show results by ad set or by ad?

No. Google and Meta ad results are available at campaign level only.

### Does it recommend budgets or campaign changes?

No. VenueX AI answers questions and prepares store and review changes. It does not recommend budgets, bids or campaigns.

### Can it get an answer wrong?

Yes. Like any AI tool, it can make mistakes, so users should check important numbers. A wrong change stops at approval and does not go live.

### Can VenueX AI see other brands' data?

No. It works for one brand at a time. Access checks block one brand's users from another brand's data.

### What does Beta mean?

VenueX AI is still growing. This page lists what works today. Features that are not listed here are not available yet.

### How is VenueX priced?

Pricing is set for each customer, by the modules used and the number of stores. There is no setup fee. VenueX can explain how VenueX AI fits a plan on a call.
